Some random pictures

I'm not taking the blame for these pictures being out of order, my "blogger" hasn't been working very good these last few posts and I'm not sure why. I guess they are really random. We made sugar cookies and I let Jack help, this kid only knows how to make a mess of everything. I'll probably be making them by myself next time! Hey at least we had fun.

We took a walk the other day and Jack wanted to pick all the "beautiful flowers" and bring them home to put in a vase. They didn't make it home but I though it was a cute picture of him sneezing.

This house is on my street and I remember last year being in LOVE with it when it started changing colors. It is the most beautiful orange red color!! I asked the lady who lives here and I think she told me it was a silver maple tree. I think I could live here (not in a suburb of Cleveland, but anywhere else towards the country) if family were closer. It really is SO SO beautiful here!

Notice where Jackson's fork is! What a messy kid!

Jack loves everything pirate right now. He was pretty happy to look like one with his patch, and hook walking around saying "argh my mateys".

More of the sugar cookie pictures, you can see the mess a little better here.

Fantastic Week (part 3)

This picture is supposed to be down with the Sacred Grove ones, but I missed getting it down there. On the last two days of my family being here we went to Niagara Falls and Palmyra New York. It was SO beautiful there with the leaves changing. Niagara Fall was FREEZING cold the day we went so we didn't end up doing much but seeing the Falls and then heading to Palmyra. The next day was beautiful and warmed up quite a bit, it was perfect for seeing the sites.
Mom bought the kids matching shirts and wanted to get some pictures of them together.

Mom, Kyden and I stayed up on top and tried to keep warm while Derrick, Lisa, Hallie, and Jackson went on the Maid of the Mist. They came back pretty wet and very cold! I love that Hallie looks like a chemo patient in her hat, so cute!

Lisa got this great picture on the boat!
At the Smith home in Palmyra.
Walking around the Temple.
Oh sweet picture of Jack.

Ky had the most beautiful blue eyes ever, well so does Hallie.

Hallie walked around the Sacred Grove with her hands on her heart. Lisa told her if she was reverent she might feel the spirit, so she walked around with her hand on her heart feeling the spirit. She's such a sweetheart!

Okay so at Niagara Falls Derrick buys the kids these huge suckers, you know the really long twisted ones, and the kids are eating them in the car. This is the NEVER messy Hallie, not even sticky!!
Here's Ky somewhat sticky, you can only expect this from an 18 month old. Look though, its only really around his mouth.
Then we look back at Jack who can make a mess of well EVERYTHING!!! His fingers are even stuck together. Its in his hair and eyebrows, all over the place. I sure hope our next little boy doesn't like to be a mess and stays clean, or at least more clean then Jack. We were laughing pretty hard at Jack and really this picture does no justice to really how messy he was!

Fantastic Week (part 2)

Sunday we went to Kirtland to see the sites (a usual event when company comes). Pete and I stayed outside with the kids so Lisa, Derrick and mom could enjoy the tours. There is a cemetery next to the temple there where the smith twins are buried and Thankful Pratt is also buried. There was one head stone with a baby laying on top. Hallie and Jack were obsessed with this little girl and that she died. That night Hallie said the prayers on the food and blessed the little baby girl and was thankful she got to see her. It was pretty funny, in fact I was cracking up at all her prayers. It will be great once Jack starts praying for things in his own mind rather than what Pete or I tell him to pray for. Hope I can hold in the laughter, because with Hallie I couldn't!!
We found a praying mantis while waiting and all the kids were loving it! Glad we got some cute pictures of them enjoying it.

Ky wasn't really sure about it when it was one him and wanted it off just as soon and he realized it was on him.

Then kids were throwing berries into the little creek . Cuties!

Just liked this picture!

You Wanna Pet My Fever?

Jack has been sleeping in his big boy bed. The last two nights he has woken Brittany and I up around 5 am. So this morning I went and slept with him on his bed. After a while, Jack sits up and throws up. So I cleaned it up and gave him a bath then a few minutes later again he throws up, and a few minutes after that, and again a few minutes after that. When Brittany woke up she checked Jack for a fever. Then Jack was walking around holding his fever asking us if we wanted to, "pet his fever." He's pretty funny.

Fantastic Week (part 1)

Okay so once again pictures are out of order. My family came to visit this past week and we had so much fun!! It just reminds me of how much I want to be close to family. Thursday was my mom's birthday (pictures were supposed to be first but ended up last). We did some shopping, saw the John Johnson farm, passed through Amish country and ended it at the Cheesecake Factory. Friday we played at a park while Derrick got his teeth cleaned by Pete, that night the boys went to a high school football game and froze their bums off! I also had my ultra sound done and.... its a boy. I really thought it was going to be a girl (and hoped for one) but for sure a boy. We are so excited and I wish I could scan some pictures on the blog, but no scanner here. The hard part now is finding a name both Pete and I like, any suggestions are appreciated!! Jack likes Max the Minnow (a favorite book of his) and Gus Gus (from Cinderella, then we'd have a Jaq and Gus Gus). Okay back to the week. Saturday we were all going to head out to Patterson Fruit Farm but the boys skipped and went to Cedar Point. So us girls and kids had fun. It was really cold and lots of noses to be blown but we had fun. Below are a few of the pictures we took while there (my mom LOVES her new camera and took probably over a thousand pictures while here so I picked some, probably to many but I think they're so cute)! Fun in the tire swing. Look out for Kyden's faces, he's a crack up!

Eating an apple while sliding down the slide.

The kids LOVED the pony rides.

So this one is really out of place, Kyden showing all his whip cream at the cheesecake factory.

Trying out the stilts, love Hallie's face.

Jack thought we needed party hats for grandma's birthday, didn't find any hats but princess crowns are just as good. Gotta have necklaces too if your going to be a princess! Happy Birthday Mom we love you so much!!

Poor Jack and all the girly stuff, however he does like girly things. I think he just spends to much time with his mom, because he really likes all boy stuff too. I just think its funny and one day he'll look back at these pictures and wont believe we let him wear this! HA HA got ya Jackson!!
