Christmas 2011

Pete's parents surprised us with tickets to come home to Idaho for Christmas! It was so great to celebrate with family as we were in Cleveland the last two years.  The night we set up our tree at our home in Florida this cute little present was the first thing under. Made by Jackson of course.  He is so funny.
Christmas eve, going to bed before Santa came.  We stayed with Pete's parents and had such a great time with them!

Indiya loved Janie, and Janie didn't seem to mind her either.
Opening gifts at Lisa's house with my family.
I don't have tons of pictures because I was pretty busy with the video camera :)

Things to remember

Max used to line everything up.  He'd line up cars, these Christmas toys or anything that "went together" into a big line  I loved that he would do this, and am sad that he doesn't do it much anymore.  I think he's got some OCD in him :)
He came home from preschool with these elephant ears and trunk on and I thought he was the cutest elephant ever!  He wore those ears for like a week straight every waking moment.

He and his friend Sam playing in the laundry basket.
Jackson had a play at school, it was a hoe down.  How cute is he?!

Halloween 2011

Yes I am trying to catch myself up real quick so I can get to some fun stuff we've been doing lately!  Jackson was a ninja, Janie was an Indian and Max was a dragon.
When we got to the ward party we saw Robby dressed as a dragon too.  Robby, and Ryan's (below as the knight) dad is in the Endo program with Pete, we sure will miss these guys!!
 Max with his favorite girl...Kolette.

Janie was running a fever Halloween night so I stayed with her and Pete took the boys trick-or-treating with  his Endo friends.  Max was probably so hot in that costume!

Fall in Florida

See the goat on the board in the tree?

We went to this little farm (like Patterson's... only not even half a great as Pattersons ) this fall.  Can you see the corn maze behind Jack's swing? Its so green, it was hard not to have the leaves change color and feel like a real fall in Ohio.  But we made the best of it :)

It's about time!

Catching up a little. I was just going to start off with where we are but looking back at pictures I want to remember lots of this stuff that I never blogged about. So here goes :) Jackson did soccer last fall. These are some of what soccer was all about. Here is his team. He was in a lot of trouble right before I took these pictures so he's trying his hardest to smile!
I cant remember the boy next to Jack. The front row is Talmage Jenkins (left), Max Mathie, and Kennedy (not sure his last name). Max is in Jacks kindergarten class, and super good friends! Joseph Lowry was also on the team but he missed this night we took pictures.
He's right there to defend the goal!
Max and Kolette are so cute and loved playing together.
We think Jackson was born to be a golly. He would try his hardest to get in the middle of the game but always ended up running back to defend the goal. I think he's a little shy like his mom.
Max loves soccer and loves getting the time to play with friends and dad. He LOVES soccer season.
This was Janie at most games, eating snacks in her stroller. She couldn't walk then so it was easy to keep her in the stroller!

Siesta Key Beach

We headed to one of the worlds best beaches, Siesta Key beach in Sarasota Florida. It was only about three hours away and so worth it! We got there Friday night about the time the sun was setting. It was so beautiful! We went to St Armands beach Friday night and there were tons of shells. Jack and Max were having so much fun gathering all they could.
Mom I think you'd like all the birds! :)

Jack's collection.
Saturday morning we headed to Siesta Key. Not as many shells and the sand was seriously like powdered sugar. The sand was cold and never got hot. This is how we saw Janie most the day, just her hat, because her head was down eating the sand! Little stinker, it was so hard to stop her.

He first mouthful. I haven't gotten any sandy diapers yet so maybe she got a lot less then we thought.

Another mouthful :(

Jack found a hermit crab and played with it most the day. He put it in a bucket after a while and caught little fish for the crab to eat ;) He drew the quite the crowd all day long with that crab.
I love the way Janie is just relaxed leaning on Pete. She is becoming quite the daddy's girl!
Here's the crab.
I love the beach. It never gets old and the kids just entertain themselves all day long!
We buried Max, which he loved until Janie started pulling his hair.
We left and got cleaned up and headed to get something to eat and then back to the beach for the sunset. The kids were so tired and getting grouchy but we wanted to see the sun set one more time, its so beautiful!! So we played while we waited.

Max was so tired but we gave him the licorice bag and that seemed to help. I love that he is sitting on the squishy football for a seat.

We wrote our names :)

Lots of birds, mom you'll love it!
I wish I could catch the real beauty in the camera, it was so amazing!
